Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I register?
A: Click on the Registration button & follow required steps.
Q: My child is younger than 6 or older than 11. Can they still register?
A: Registration for this summer is only for children 6-11. In the future, look for expanded offerings including some sessions for the whole family.
Q: Is there extra paperwork to complete?
A: Additional forms will be sent to your email provided at registration. Please complete & return these forms before the first session of camp.
Q: What procedures do you have to keep my child safe during the pandemic?
A: We will follow guidelines from the CDC, AzDHS, & Yuma County Health Department regarding masking, distancing, cleaning, & hand-washing. We reserve the right to implement more strict procedures than are recommended by these organizations in case there is a dramatic change in the pandemic. Staff members undergo a health check at the start of each workday & have been encouraged to get vaccinated.
If the pandemic worsens, in-person camps may need to be changed to virtual camps. In that situation, we will provide activity materials to you along with a private Zoom link to participate in the session.
Q: Can a parent or caregiver stay with their child during camp?
A: We do not have room for additional people in the camp classroom. In the future, look for some camps where parents/caregivers & children can play & work together.
Q: Do you have a waitlist?
A. If you are interested in a filled session, please email your contact information & your child's information to [email protected]. If a registered child can't attend, we will contact you in the order your email was received.
FYI...the Children's Museum of Yuma County & Spark Creative Curiosity Camps are peanut & tree nut-free due to severe allergies of a staff member & possible guests. Thank you for helping to keep all of us safe!
